INFORMAZIONI
STORICHE
La Enrico Costa fu acquistata dalla Costa Line nel 1965. Essa in precedenza era denominata PROVENCE di nazionalità francese di proprietà della SGTM ( Societè. Gènèrale des Transportes Maritimes) fu costruita nel 1951 da Swan Hunter sul Tyne essa espletava il servizio da Marsiglia a Dakar e in Sud America. Nel 1987 la nave fu rinominata Enrico C e poi nuovamente Enrico Costa. Nel 1990 furono sostituiti i motore a caldaie e furono installati due motor WARTSILA diesel da 11850 Kw Nel 1994 fu venduta alla Starlauro, che la rinominò SYMPHONY. Nel 1995 la Starlauro divenne MSC ( Metiterranean Shipping Cruise ) e nel 2000 la SYMPHONY fu noleggiata alla Golden Sun Cruises, che la rinominò AEGEAN SPIRIT e fu impiegata per le crociere nel mar Egeo il 07.06.2001 fu noleggiata per le crociere estive dei britnnici rinominata OCEAN GLORY 1 e passata sotto la bandiera di Panama riusci a fare un solo viaggio in quanto all'arrivo a Dove la Guardia Costiera la fermò per irregolarità.Nel settembre 2009 fu venduta alla società panamese Carpentai Holdings Corp. che la rinominò CLASSICA .Non potè effettuare alcun viaggio in quanto non gli venne rinnovato il certificato di classe per motivi di igiene e sicurezza. Il 30.10.2011 arrivò ad Alang in India per essere demolita ed il 4 novembre 2011 fu spiaggiata per iniziare la demolizione.

The Enrico Costa was purchased from Coast Line in 1965. It was previously named PROVENCE French national property of SGTM (Societè. Generale des Transportes Maritimes) was built in 1951 by Swan Hunter on the Tyne it espletava service from Marseille to Dakar in South America.
