INFORMAZIONI STORICHE 
Questa unità divenne operativa negli ultimi mesi del 1936, fu impiegata nelle acque della Libia.
Nel 1937 partecipò alla guerra civile spagnola, svolgendo azioni di contrasto del contrabbando di rifornimenti a favore delle truppe spagnole repubblicane.
In seguito , prima dello scoppio del secondo conflitto mondiale, l'unità operò nel Dodecaneso.
partecipò alla seconda guerra mondiale.
Nel 1941 fu modificata con l'eliminazione delle poco efficaci mitragliere da 13,2 mm e la loro sostituzione con 8 armi da 20/65 mm. Vennero inoltre imbarcati altri due lanciabombe di profondità.
Tra il 1951 ed il 1952 venne riclassificata corvetta veloce e sottoposta a grandi lavori di ammodernamento, che comportarono l'eliminazione di 2 cannoni da 100/47 mm e dei 4 tubi lanciasiluri, nonché l'installazione di un lanciatore antisommergibile «Porcospino». In seguito all'ingresso dell'Italia nella NATO ricevette inoltre (1953) la nuova sigla identificativa F 554.
Nel 1958 subì la rimozione dell'ultimo cannone da 100 mm, imbarcando invece 2 mitragliere da 40/60 mm Mk 3

Radiata il 31 ottobre 1959, venne in seguito avviata alla demolizione.

HISTORICAL INFO

This unit became operational in the last months of 1936, it was employed in the waters of Libya.
In 1937 he participated in the Spanish Civil War, carrying out actions to combat the smuggling of supplies in favor of the Spanish republican troops.
Later, before the outbreak of the Second World War, the unit operated in the Dodecanese.

In 1941 it was modified with the elimination of the little effective 13.2 mm machine guns and their replacement with 8 arms of 20/65 mm. Another two depth beacons were also embarked.
Between 1951 and 1952, a fast corvette was reclassified and subjected to major modernization works, which involved the elimination of 2 100/47 mm cannons and 4 torpedo tubes, as well as the installation of a «Porcupine» antisubmarine launcher. Following the entry of Italy into NATO, he also received (1953) the new identification code F 554.
In 1958 he underwent the removal of the last 100 mm cannon, instead embarking on 2 machine guns of 40/60 mm Mk 3 Radiata on 31 October 1959, he was then sent for demolition.
