                                                              INFORMAZIONI STORICHE 
Dopo l'entrata in servizio partecipò alla guerra Italo-turca.
Nel 1936 considerato superato viene avviato a lavori di trasformazione presso i cantieri navali di La Spezia.
Riprende servizio nel 1938 come nave scuola per gli allievi dell'accademia navale.
Il 13.05.1941 fu inviato a Tobruk destinato ad operare come batteria galleggiante a difesa aereonavale.
il 22.01.1941 a seguito dell'arrivo delle forze britanniche viene autoaffondato.
Al termine della guerra si recuperarono alcune batterie e fu riportato a galla per essese trasposrtato in Italia per la demolizione, durante il rimorchi i cavi di rimorchio cedettero e la nave affondò definitivamente a 100 mg da Tobruk.

After the entry into service, took part in the Italo-Turkish War.Considered outdated in 1936 to start conversion work at the shipyard of La Spezia.Resume Service in 1938 as a training ship for naval academy students.
The 13.05.1941 was sent to Tobruk intended to operate as a floating battery to defend aeronaval.
on 22.01.1941 following the arrival of British forces is scuttled.After the war it recovered some batteries and was resurfaced for Roadway Esses in Italy for the demolition, trailers during towing cables gave way and the ship sank permanently from Tobruk to 100 mg.
