Guardacoste della classe CORRUBIA, sono destinati al contrasto e alla repressione dei traffici illeciti nelle acque territoriali e nell'alto mare. Hanno caratteristiche generali simili alla classe BIGLIANI compreso la quasi totalità delle apparecchiature di bordo.
Sono state le prime unità del Corpo a disporre di un moderno sistema di comando e controlli con trasmissione in data-link delle informazioni operative.

HISTORICAL INFO

Coast Guard class CORRUBIA, are intended to contrast and suppression of illicit traffic in territorial waters and high seas. Have general characteristics similar to the class BIGLIANI including almost all the equipment on board.
They were the first units of the Corps to have a modern system of command and control with data-link transmission of operational information.
