Questa unità Apparteneva alla classe INDOMITO. Fu varato il 20 ottobre 1912 ed entrò in servizio nel 1914. Fu assegnato alla 1ª Squadriglia Cacciatorpediniere della 1ª Squadra Navale e partecipò ad esercitazioni nel Tirreno, nell’Ionio e nella acque siciliane fino all’entrata in guerra dell’Italia a fianco dell’Intesa. Fu poi assegnata alla Divisione Esploratori, in servizio di sbarramento mobile del Canale d’Otranto, ricognizioni offensive in acque dalmate e per la difesa costiera del fronte terrestre fino ad Ancona. A seguito dell’ armistizio fu tra le prime unità ad entrare a Pola e a scortare a Venezia le navi Austro-Ungariche, preda bellica del’Italia. Alla fine della guerra svolse molteplici attività con la Squadra Navale e fu impiegato sia dall’Accademia Navale che dalla Scuola Cannottieri di Pola per l’istruzione pratica degli allievi. Dal 1928 fu unità di riserva della Divisione Speciale a Venezia ed effettuò missioni di collegamento con l’Istria, fu posta in disarmo nell’estate del 1931. I

This
unit belonged to the class INDOMITO. It was launched 20 October
1912 and entered service in 1914. He was assigned to a Destroyer Squadron
of the 1st Fleet and participated in exercises in the Tyrrhenian and
Sicilian waters nell'Ionio until the entry into the war alongside
the Entente. He was then assigned to the Division Rangers, in service
of the Strait of Otranto barrage mobile, aerial offensive in Dalmatian
waters and the coastal defense of the land front to Ancona. Following
the 'armistice was among the first units to come to Venice to Pula
and escort ships Austro-Hungarian, del'Italia war booty. At the end
of the war held a variety of activities with the Fleet and Naval Academy
and was employed by the School of Pula Cannottieri for the practical
education of students. From 1928 he was reserve units of the Special
Division in Venice and by conducting liaison with Istria, was laid
up in the summer of 1931.
