Questa unità apparteneva alla clase Soldati, gemella di 11 - ALPINO - CARABINIERE - FUCILIERE - PONTIERE, LANCIERE - GRANATIERE - GARIBALDINO - ASCARO - ARTIGLIERE - BERSAGLIERE - CORAZZIERE
progettate e costruite dai Cantieri Ansaldo. Derivata dalla classe Nembo.
Erano navi ben riuscite, stabili, veloci e con buone doti di manovrabilità.Tutte le unità sopravvissero alla prima guerra mondiale ad eccezione della RN Garibaldino che il 16 luglio 1918 a Villefranche affondò per collisione con la HMS Cygnet.
Tutte le unità restanti vennero declassate a torpediniere a partire dal 1° luglio 1921 e radiate fra il 1925 ed il 1930.
L'ALPINO Nel luglio 1921 fu declassato a torpediniera.Nel giugno 1928 fu radiato in attesa di essere demolito

This unit belonged to clase Soldiers, twin 11- ALPIN0 - CARABINIERE - FUCILIERE - PONTIERE - LANCIERE - GRANATIERE - GARIBALDINO - ASCARO - ARTIGLIERE - BERSAGLIERE - CORAZZIERE
designed and built by Cantieri Ansaldo. Derived from the Nimbus class.
Ships were very successful, stable, fast and with good skills manovrabilità.Tutte units survived the First World War, with the exception of the RN that Garibaldi July 16, 1918 in Villefranche sank in collision with HMS Cygnet.
All remaining units were downgraded to torpedo from 1 July 1921, and radiated between 1925 and 1930.
