Questa
nave in origine era una general cargo, nel 1972 fu venduta alla Wimpey
Marine e fu rinominata WIMPEY SEALAB. Fu sottoposta a lunghi
lavori di trasformazione per diventare una nave da ricerca e perforazione
oceanografica. Furono applicati dei traster prodieri
per consentire la manovrabilità nella ricerca.

ship was originally a general cargo, was sold in 1972 and was renamed
the Marine Wimpey Wimpey SEALAB. She underwent a long period of transformation
to become an oceanographic research vessel and drilling. Were applied
traster of the bow to allow the maneuverability in the search.
