INFORMAZIONI
STORICHE
Questa nave è entrata in servizio l'8 maggio 1971 con Flagship Cruises, ed era denominata SEA VENTURE. Il 07.04.1975 fu venduta alla Princess Cruises con la gemella e fu rinominata PACIFIC PRINCESS. Questa nave con la gemella è stata protagoniste della sit com " The Love Boat ". Nel 2001 fu venduta alla Pullmantur Cruise e ribattezzata PACIFIC. Nel giugno 2008 fu venduta alla Temp Elton International Ltd., Nassau, Bahamas (Quail Cruises Management gestione delle navi, Spagna). Dal novembre 2008 alla data odierna e posta sotto sequestro a Genova a causa del mancato pagamento delle forniture ad alcune aziende aziende di servizi e riparazioni . Il 27.07.2013 viene trainata dal rimorchiatore IZMIR BULL con destinazione ALIAGA per essere demolita dove arriva il 06.08.2013. Durante la navigazione imbarca acqua ed arriva ada ALIAGA sbandata a dritta.A causa dello sbandamento per cercare di scaricare l'acqua a mare due operai perdono la vita e sei rimangono feriti asfissiati da gas di scarico provenienti da una perdita sulla linea di depurazione. La nave dopo essersi insabbiata ha continuato a imbarcare acqua e lo sbandamento è aumentato col rischio di capovolgersi.
This ship entered service on 8 May 1971 with Flagship Cruises, and was named the SEA VENTURE. On 07.04.1975 it was sold to Princess Cruises and renamed the twin PACIFIC PRINCESS. This ship with sister was the star of the sit com "The Love Boat." In 2001 it was sold to Pullmantur and renamed Pacific Cruise. In June 2008 it was sold to Elton Temp International Ltd., Nassau, Bahamas (Quail Management Cruises ship management, Spain). From November 2008 to date and placed under sequestration in Genoa due to non payment of supplies to some companies utilities and repairs 27.07.2013 The ship is driven by the tug IZMIR BULL with destination ALIAGA to be demolished where it comes from on 06/08/2013. While browsing embarks water and arrives ada ALIAGA crush starboard. A due to heel to try to download the water to sea two workers are killed and six were injured asphyxiated by exhaust gas from a loss on the sewage line. The ship after being shelved continued to take on water and the list has increased the risk of tipping.
