Dopo la consegna avvenuta il 05.04.1960 , entrò in servizio tra tra Turku - Mariehamn - Stoccolma in seguito Samseglande Silja Line. Dal 1965 fu impegnata in aggiunta ai servizi ordinari a gite di un giorno Stoccolma - Mariehamn - Stoccolma.
Il 27.07.1970 si scontra con la nave olandese EDDA nella nebbia nell'arcipelago Turku. Entrambe le navi subirono lievi danni.
Nel 1972 fu rstrutturata e furono aumentati i posti letto. Il 10.10.1977 fu venduta a Jakob Oy Lines Ltd, Pietarsaari, Finlandia.Visby. Dopo diversi utilizzi tra cui quello di nave albergo per operai di piattaforme petrolifere, il 26.04.1984 fu venduta alla linea di Aura. Il 29.05.1984 fu nuovamente venduta a Helsinki Steamship Company Ltd Ltd (Henry Oy Ab Nielsen), Helsinki, Finlandia che la impiegò sulla linea Turku - Stoccolma. Dopo il fallimento dell'Aura Line fi posta nuovamente in vendita, ed il 20.01.1987 fu acquistata da Rannikkolinjat Oy, Kotka, Finlandia. La nave fu consegnata ai nuovi proprietari 02.03.1987 e fu rinominata KRISTINA REGINA.
Il 26.07.1987 fu rimorchiata da Turku a Meriteollisuus Wärtsilä Oy / Wärtsilä Marine Industries Inc, Kotka, Finlandia, dove arrivò il giorno successivo dove fu cambiata la motorizzazione da nave a vapore a motonave.La conversione costa 15 milioni di FIM, durante i lavori scoppiò un incendio in cucina che grazie alle porte tagliafuoco non si propagò oltre.Il 22.04.1987 la nave è presentata in Kotka ed iniziò le crociere tra Visby, Leningrado, Riga e Tallinn, Helsinki e Kotka.
Nel 1988 fu ristrutturata e furono aumentate le cabine (151 con 444 posti letto). In seguito subì altre trasformazioni ed altri cambi di proprietà fino all'attuale Oy S / S Borea Ltd, Turku, in Finlandia che la ha acquistata il 03.08.2010 e che dovrebbe trasformarla in hotel galleggiante.
