Piccola crepa nello scafo e altre deficienze.
After a routine safety inspection by U.S. Coast Guard detected a small hole in its hull and other deficiencies on June 25. It was determined the damage occurred after the vessel left Reykjavik, Iceland on June 19 but before it arrived at its port of call in New York. The vessel was expected to be taken to dry dock in New Jersey for repairs. The vessel had been scheduled to depart for final destination of Venezuela. The several hundred passengers were taken to hotels. The repair proposal will be reviewed and approved by the Coast Guard and the vessel's classification society.
