INFORMAZIONI STORICHE
Durante la 1^ Guerra Mondiale fu a disposizione del dipartimento di Taranto, poi al seguito della Squadra per condurre le operazioni di recupero. Dopo la guerra ebbe base a Taranto e fu trasferita a La Spezia nel 1926. Nel corso della 2^ Guerra Mondiale l'Anteo svolse la sua attività a La Spezia e, a seguito dell'armistizio del 08 settembre, fu affondata e poi recuperata presso l'Arsenale di La Spezia, l'Anteo continuò la sua opera di recupero di scafi affondati sia nel porto di La Spezia, sia presso altri porti dell'Alto Tirreno. Trasferito a Taranto nel 1951, concluse la sua attività il 19 Maggio 1954.

During the 1st World War was available to the Department of Taranto, then the following team to conduct recovery operations.
